Just a few minutes’ drive is Papermill Lock with canal and country walks, canal cruises and a tea room. Visit Maldon with a range of shops, restaurants and promenade park, the RHS garden at Hyde Hall, 8 miles. Shop 3 miles, pub and restaurant 2 miles.
