Come enjoy Oak Hills Ranch, a beautiful 90 acre private ranch with an upscale ranch house on 90 acres. Perfect spot for small weddings or events. Dogs & horses welcome! Two 12x24’ corrals with water. Beautiful heated swimming pool, jacuzzi, pickle ball court, cornhole, horseshoes. 3 bedrooms, 3 queen beds, 1 king and one queen sofa sleeper.
The house will sleep up to 10 adults. Additionally, there are 2 pack n plays provided for young children. The house is not childproofed. The house and property are upscale with an entertainment loft, pool table, finished basement entertainment area, one 1,500 sq foot outdoor shaded deck off the main house, ping pong patio beneath the main deck outside the finished basement and amazing views of the Tehachapi mountains.
The house has a fully equipped chef's kitchen stocked with basics and gourmet spices. There is wifi and there are smart tv's available in the main living room, loft and master bedroom, access to Netflix provided by owner. There are many local activities including hiking, biking, wine tasting and a quaint downtown food and shopping area all very close in Tehachapi.
The spacious main house has a large dining table with expander available to seat up to 16, perfect for a rehearsal dinner or large family/holiday gathering. In spring, summer and fall the 1,500 square foot shaded main deck and lovely central courtyard are perfect for small one-day private events like weddings, birthday parties or office retreats. We offer many basic event supplies at no charge for events up to 45 people such as 6 8-top folding round tables, wooden folding chairs, white linens, place settings including silverware, plates and bowls, and glass champagne flutes, white centerpieces that can be accented with real flowers in colors, arch, chiffon and some faux florals. Quiet hours are from 10 pm to 8 am daily. Please message host for event details.
Pets are welcome, up to 2 dogs big or small. We provide a large enclosed outdoor dog run with dog house under a beautiful shade tree. It is not recommended to leave dogs outdoors overnight. Up to 4 horses are welcome with 2 12’x24’ horse corrals provided with running water and a common exercise area. The 90 acre property is available for hiking, biking or horseback riding while there are other riding, hiking and biking trails throughout the immediate Tehachapi area.
Note on guest access: The house is not ADA compliant, but we have taken steps to make access to the main house wheelchair friendly with accessible parking and a ramp providing access to the main house. One downstairs bedroom and a large downstairs bathroom that are wheelchair accessible. Please check photos carefully and message host for handicapped access details.
There are lovely local wineries to visit, historic downtown shops and restaurants, the Tehachapi Loop, mountain biking and hiking in local mountains all close by. The ranch was an operating cattle ranch over the past 50 years.
