Welcome to Twin Oceans on Spyglass, our beautiful 4 bed, 4 bath villa at the West End of Tortola. Standing majestically on the hillside with beautiful far reaching views across the ocean to St John on one side and to Jost Van Dyke on the other. We are sure you will love this home, with its cool breezes, gorgeous pool and spacious entertaining areas.
It is just a few minutes’ drive to Long Bay, Smugglers Cove or any of the pristine deserted beaches on the North shore and just a five minute drive to the fabulous world renowned surf break at Apple Bay. The Spyglass neighborhood comprises for the most part owner-occupied bespoke and individually designed homes.
The villa was lovingly restored and refurbished throughout 2020 and is an addition to the Chapman group of properties joining 21 Spyglass, it’s nearby neighbor, that is just a three minute walk away and The Lighthouse, a new-build villa in Pasea Estate, Road Town (both also listed on this site).
The beautiful artisan built kitchen is equipped to meet the needs of the most discerning chef. Dine on the large covered patio overlooking the ocean or under the stars by the pool. The gas grill can be used anywhere on the outdoor patio so the 'grill chef' can enjoy the amazing sea views whilst he/she is at work!
The four bedrooms are all en-suite and are airconditioned. The villa is made up of three separate pavilions with the lounge area and kitchen being between the two bedroom buildings. The ‘St John’ bedrooms are connected to each other by a small hallway, one is a king, the other has two twins. The twin room has a large balcony, the King has sliding doors leading directly on to the pool deck and is adjacent to the pergola. The ‘Jost’ rooms are the other side of the main living rooms in a two story building. Upper Jost is a king, the Lower Jost has 2 twin beds plus a twin sized day bed. The twins can also be 'kissed' together and made up as a king. This room can sleep 3, either as a king and a twin or 3 twins. Each of the two rooms in the Jost building has its own entrance and own balcony or private patio.
There is covered parking for three cars.
The villa is designed to put you at peace with the world. Beautiful ocean views and amazing sunsets may be enjoyed from the bedrooms, living room and kitchen, the pergola and the covered or poolside patios. It is very well equipped with ample beach towels, beach chairs, cooler and ice blocks, iron and ironing board, hairdryers and high speed internet. Our guests choose how much interaction they want with us and we can be at the villa quickly if needed.
Twin Oceans is within easy driving distance of many amenities such as beaches, restaurants, supermarkets, dive shops, sailing schools, charter boat companies, boutique shops, beauty spas, zip-lining, and hiking. We provide a personal service at all times both before and during your stay. We welcome your questions and can help with travel as well as things to do and places to go whilst you are in Tortola.
We recommend a 4 wheel drive vehicle to get the most out of being on the island and Jerry’s car rental are based nearby. They will leave the car where you arrive be it ferry or airport and you can leave it at the ferry dock, airport or other location of your choice when you leave.
There are several great restaurants nearby such as Tramonti and The Terrace at the Sugar Mill Hotel, Bananakeet, Tropical Fusion, Da Coalpot, and Sebastians.
