Summary: Rudy and Doris are the best host and hostess. We had many laughs trying to translate their German and our English. We arrived late and the beds were already made up. They walked us thru how to use all the home appliances and bathroom facilities and then provided us with a continental breakfast in the am. Beds were comfortable. There is no air conditioning and a couple nights it was quite warm but a room fan was provided. That may be a problem if coming in the heat of the summer. Restaurants, supermarket and pastry shops within walking distance in the lovely small community. We were within easy reach of larger cities and Germany but had the quiet of the small village. We thank Rudy and Doris for making our stay so pleasant while we did our French Geneology research.
