The Alaska Nantucket House is a private retreat perched at the top of Knob Hill overlooking the downtown harbor in the heart of Historic Ketchikan. The house is only a three minute walk to the center of downtown, just a couple blocks away. Luxury and comfort await each guest.
This 4 bedroom house is large with over 2,000 sq ft of living space, the main living area has 3 bedrooms, a large modern kitchen, a living room, a bathroom. On the upper floor of the house is a beautiful master bedroom suite that we call the Penthouse. There is a total of 3 queen size beds and an extra-long twin bed. The Penthouse also has a queen size sofa bed as well as a small kitchen, a sitting area and a private bathroom. The den has a twin size bed and a work desk. There are large glass doors that roll open to the balcony that overlooks the harbor.
Treat yourself to the most magnificent harbor view you will find in downtown Ketchikan. Step out onto the one of the private decks with a fresh cup of coffee and watch the sunrise over Deer Mountain. From your master bedroom suite step out onto the balcony and watch float planes, ferries, fishing vessels, cruise ships, and private yachts pass before your unobstructed view of Tongass Narrows. You can relax and enjoy the ocean breeze and the view of Pennock Island, Gravina Island and the mountain tops of Annette Island.
Just minutes from the Alaska Nantucket House you can participate in any number of activities including: Sportfishing, kayaking, cycling, flight seeing, hiking, and whale watching. There are endless opportunities in this vacationers' paradise. If you would like to be close walking distance to the shops, restaurants and pubs this is a perfect location.
