Herzlich willkommen in Neuried! Unser Haus liegt am Ortsrand neben einem Reitplatz in sehr ruhiger Lage. Der Ort Altenheim ist bekannt durch sehr schöne alte Fachwerkshäuser und den Tabakanbau. Günstig gelegen für Ausflüge in den nahen Schwarzwald und das Kinzigtal, sowie die Städte Freiburg, Offenburg, Gengenbach, Kehl und Lahr. Den Europa-Park erreicht man in ca. 20 Minuten, ebenso schnell ist man in Straßburg und im reizvollen Elsass. Mit dem Fahrrad (Mietmöglichkeit bei Gemeinde) kann man den Mühlenweg, Rheinauenweg oder durch die Rheinlandschaft auf ebenen Wegen fahren. Sehr interessant ist auch der nahe gelegene Rheinauenwildnispfad. Mehrere Badeseen zum Schwimmen und Tauchen in naher Umgebung. Heißluft-Ballonfahrten und Reitmöglichkeit in unmittelbarer Nähe. Es bestehen gute Einkaufsmöglichkeiten für den täglichen Bedarf und mehrere gute Restaurants.
