Central location, just 18 minutes from downtown and 30 minutes from the beach, the home is in a quiet residential mid century modern neighborhood and part of a bird sanctuary and waterfront community. The private community boat ramp is across the street and at the end of the block giving you easy access to the Vernon River. Bring your kayaks, canoes or motorboats and explore the salt marsh and barrier islands of Coastal Georgia after sightseeing in beautiful Historic Downtown Savannah. Don’t have a Kayak, we have two here available for your use.
This home is ideal for those looking to truly relax and enjoy peace and quiet. There is a fully equipped kitchen, including a large side by side refrigerator, ice & water on the door and a dishwasher. The dining room is set for 6 but with an added leaf option and extra chairs, seat 8. The living room boasts a 50" flat screen TV with cable and Netflix. Bring your kayaks and go out on a nature adventure or arrange a tour with Moon River Kayaks, just 3 miles down the road. There are Queen beds in each bedroom to comfortably sleep 6, but there is also a queen murphy bed that can be setup in the office if needed. The murphy bed is locked for safety, but available to you on request.
There is a fenced courtyard with a pergola, table, chairs, umbrella and gas grill,/outdoor kitchen ready for a cookout.
