The Hostel is situated in the heart of Exmoor and in the centre of the small beautiful town of Dulverton, so you can enjoy the wilds of Exmoor as well as the many local pubs and award winning eateries.
Also, one of the main benefits of the Dulverton Hostel is it's closeness to Wimbleball Lake. We have many rowing, and canoe clubs that use the hostel because it is just a 10 minute car journey to the lake that hires out canoes or sailing boats to day trippers and also caters for larger groups from all over the country.
The Hostel is owned and run by the YMCA and has been furbished to provide homely and comfortable hostel accommodation with catering facilities and functional washrooms. The house sleeps up to 36 and is always let on an exclusive basis.
It is centrally heated and comprises:
5 bedrooms (12,8,8,4,4) mainly in bunk beds with some divans
2 Ground floor reception rooms and a large roof room
Spacious dining room with tables and chairs to accomadate large hungry groups
Excellent kitchen conatining 2 ovens, large hob, dishwasher and plenty of plates, glasses, mugs and utensils, there are also to large fridge freezers to store food.
Separate wash rooms and shower rooms for males and females
Garden area
1 car parking space on site, other vehicles must be parked in town car parks, nearest 3 minutes away, on street parking is often available too.
Accessibility Toilet, showers, on ground floor. (all rooms are on second floor with no lift)
