Welcome to La Casita Del Viajero, a Backpacker’s Home in Paraguay!
If you’re looking for a friendly and adventurous place to stay, you’ve found it! Our hostel is made for backpackers who love nature, animals, and meeting new people. We have five dogs and a turtle, and we love sharing our space with fellow travellers who appreciate a warm and relaxed atmosphere.
We organise excursions to help you explore Paraguay, a country where tourism can sometimes be challenging due to its lack of infrastructure. Whether you want to discover hidden trails, visit local attractions, or experience authentic Paraguayan culture, we’re here to help. We also have bungalows near a beautiful lake outside the city, and we can take you there for a peaceful retreat.
What makes us different? We genuinely love what we do. As a backpacker myself, I’ve been helped by so many kind people while travelling, and now I want to give back. We’re always happy to provide all the information you need to make your trip special.
Every week, we organise activities at the hostel to bring people togetherâ€"whether it’s a group dinner, a casual music gathering, or a fun night out. More than just a place to sleep, we want our hostel to feel like a home away from home.

Cancellation Policy: 3 days before arrival. In case of a late cancellation or No Show, you will be charged the first night of your stay.
