Chalet Stella is located at 1,500 meters above sea level, in a very peaceful area near the hamlet of Les Masses, a major Valais holiday resort in the municipality of Hérémence. Oriented to the south and southeast with its balconies and its terrace, it smiles in the sun. It enjoys an exceptional panorama over the Dent Blanche (4,357 meters above sea level) and 17 other peaks over 3,000 meters above sea level (including the Grand Cornier - 3,962 meters - and Mont-Blanc de Cheillon - 3,870 meters), the Val d'Hérémence and the Grande Dixence dam (the highest gravity dam in the world), the Val d'Hérens and the Euseigne pyramids (unique natural site).
The Chalet is located a few hundred meters from the Masses chairlift which can be reached on foot or by car (covered parking, free during the day); it is connected to the Collons and Thyon 2000 stations (downhill, cross-country and cross-country skiing, toboggan run) and the immense 4 Vallées ski area. Switzerland's largest ski area, the 4 Valleys cover the resorts of Verbier, Bruson, La Tzoumaz, Nendaz, Veysonnaz and Thyon on 410 kilometers of slopes in winter with 93 ski lifts, hundreds of kilometers of hiking routes or mountain biking in summer, and an exceptional view from Mont-Fort at 3.330 meters above sea level.
