Positive: A True Home Away from Home Our stay at this beautifully refurbished farmhouse exceeded all expectations. The farmhouse was immaculate and incredibly well-equipped, every detail had been thoughtfully considered. From the luxurious beds, crisp linens, and fluffy towels to the cozy open fire, shelves of books, and a great selection of board games for the kids, it truly felt like a home away from home. The outdoor space is equally stunning, nestled right beside a peaceful forest, perfect for unwinding and reconnecting with nature. Geraldine, who looks after the property, was the epitome of Irish hospitality, warm, welcoming, and even arrived with freshly baked cream buns! Please note, the house is in a remote location, so a car is essential—but that’s exactly what we were looking for: peace, quiet, and authenticity. We couldn’t recommend this place highly enough and are already looking forward to our return.
