Positive: Beautiful peaceful, quiet location right by the river - no midges at the time we were there! The cottage interior far exceeded my expectation and the sitting room is beautifully furnished including armchairs upholstered in local tweed, elegant lamps etc. Main bedroom very nicely presented and is spacious with very comfortable super king bed, though 2nd bedroom which we didn't use might be a bit compact for a second couple with not much hanging space. The outhouse has a washing machine, tumble drier and drying rack which would be brilliant in poor weather. Spotlessly clean, and even a welcoming vase of daffodils. Good kitchen and generally lots of equipment. Very nice crockery, glasses and cutlery. Wonderful area for walks of all difficulties with Munros nearby, and the superb bonus that though there are very few facilities in the area it is within an easy stroll of the Glen Lyon tea/coffee house come Post Office which serves delicious food. Like previous reviewers I almost hesitate to say how marvellous this place is as I want to be able to book it again in the future!
Negative: Previous guests had sadly misused the non-stick pans which were a bit scratched and iffy and a larger kitchen cooks knife would have been useful.
